Contracts

The TU Delft, its students and the companies that want to learn from and help each other need to be able to trust each other. After all, trust forms the basis for successful collaborative relationships in the field of both research and education.

In addition it is important to make clear agreements about the conditions such collaborative relationships are subject to. These conditions are determined at a number of levels (legal, contractual, policy-related) and serve as the basis for further negotiation. That is why basic contracts are used in both research and education, containing agreements on aspects including intellectual property rights, remuneration, rights and obligations and liability.
