Biography
Born in Parma, Italy, in 1971. Worked and studied mostly in Milan, then subsequently in Pittsburgh, Paris and Mexico City. Then back to Italy, in the sleepy town of Ivrea. Then in the equally sleepy town of Pisa, for an extra helping of education. Now living in Rotterdam and happily commuting by bike.
Education
- MSc in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Milano
- PhD in Engineering from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna
Experience
- Extensive experience teaching technology in the design field: also on installations.
- Webdesign in the good old days.
- UNIX system maintenance and installation.
- Work in multicultural contexts.
- EU projects.
Specialisation / field of research
Bridging technology and design: now branching out into food design and service design. Would achieve holy grail by designing a service that designs food in a technological way.
