Characteristics of the Automotive specialisation:
Automotive master specialistion students participate in one of the three master programs, depending on the contemplated graduate profile.
Shared Theory courses, that are equal for all three master programs, Strategic Product Design, Design for Interaction or Integrated Product Design, are compulsory.
Identity Courses largely determine the graduate profile and differ per master program. These are compulsory courses in the respective master programs.
Identity Projects are linked to Identity Courses in each of the master programs. The course content is equal for all participants but automotive subjects, and/or contexts, will be available for students in the automotive master specialisation.
A number of ‘compulsory’ automotive electives is being offered, from which a minimum number must be taken. These are the same for each of the master programs SPD, DfI or IPD and are the core of the automotive master specialisation.
Furthermore a range of profile dependent electives is being recommended for each of the graduate profiles.
In the Integral Design project, in which students of the three master degrees form teams in industry commissioned projects, automotive projects are compulsory for students in the automotive specialisation.
The graduation project must be in the automotive industry.

All master programs and courses are in English.
